The H.I.V.E.

High schoolers Initiating Valuable Experiences

for their health and wellness

A community club for youth 9th-12th grade promoting wellness and balance in the 6 domains of the wholeness wheel. The goal is to help teens recognize how to be the best managers of themselves and create balance and joy in their lives. Using Jill's framework P.O.I.S.E.D we teach that wellness is a lifestyle and practice that helps one live a long and healthy life. This is a space youth will be mentored by other community members who love to teach and share their gifts with the youth. The opportunity to credit capture for a general elective credit allows for an alternative learning experience and the ability for youth and parents to have creativity and flexibility in their daily schedules. Because this is an accredited opportunity there are certain parameters that need to be met. H.I.V.E. helps you meet those standards and Jill as the director will mentor you through the process of getting the credit from start to end.
